The XLS+’s low-drag, straight-wing design contributes powerfully to its short takeoff and landing performance. Control surfaces on the wing include an outboard aileron, two graphite composite flap sections per wing, as well as upper and lower speed brakes. For clear visibility, the wing tips integrate navigation lights, strobe lights, and flush-mounted landing lights.
The Citation XLS+ is built around Pratt & Whitney high-bypass engines, offering generous range and performance.

The aisle provides 68 inches of height throughout the entire length of the cabin. A generous width of 66 inches accommodates six extra-wide, fully reclining leather seats for optimal comfort.
Take full advantage of its generous space, and design the cabin to meet your needs. The standard configuration includes a side-facing couch and six seats, each with a well-positioned work surface. The VIP seat control offers passengers complete control of the cabin lighting and temperature. For added storage, the two-place couch can be replaced with a storage closet and a single-side-facing seat. Seats are wrapped in rich leather, while tasteful hardwood finishes and custom-tailored fabrics accent the elegance.
The pilot needs to know different flight-critical information at various times during each phase of the flight, which is why the XLS+ is equipped with the Collins Pro Line 21™.
This line of avionics provides weather navigation systems, airport diagrams, detailed flight status data, checklists, diagnostic systems and are directly in the crew’s line of sight. Angled control panels and four tilted eight by ten inch displays show flight information in simple, clear readouts.Simpler controls and brighter displays, all powered by Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21™ avionics, make the Citation XLS+ smarter than ever.

Your XLS+ will give you instant, accurate and up-to-date weather information for your flight path via the XM WX Satellite Weather® Data Service. This long-range, comprehensive weather detection system provides sharp situational awareness for both pilots and copilots.
With upgraded software, pilots can view satellite imagery with NEXRAD overlays, see Temporary Flight Restrictions (FSR) both in graphical and textual formats, view winds aloft and view cloud-to cloud lightning with strikes data refreshed every five minutes. Images and data are available at any altitude and are processed through a receiver supplied on a Head-Up Display (HUD) technologies which are then stored in the file server unit (FSU) for immediate access.
The XLS+ is equipped with a traffic collision avoidance system (TCAS) powered by the Collins TCAS-4000. The system tracks all other aircraft within a 35-nautical-mile radius. The system will select and display only the aircraft traffic that poses a collision threat along with audible traffic alerts and resolution advisories to assist pilots in maneuvering around potential hazards. If the other aircraft detected in the system is also equipped with TCAS technology, each system will coordinate complementary maneuvers to correct the situation.

The Citation XLS+ combines performance and payload, allowing you and your team never to compromise on a mission. Performance data is based on the standard XLS+ configuration, operating in International Standard Atmosphere (ISA) conditions with zero wind. Takeoff and landing field lengths are based on a level, hard surface and dry runway.
